LDF - Tent...

Last night was our final design week boozing and shmoozing, (mainly with the marvellous Mini Modern's men.) TENT, teaming up with Super Brands in Truman Brewery showed the usual high caliber of design talent emerging on the scene and more established brands that they still got it!

Good to see our old Pulse neighbours Seven Gauge Studios looking and feeling gorgeous still.

 Obviously these chippy forks by Kate Noakes were a fave in show. Especially the recycled reconditioned furniture, with metal forks inlayed into the wood. Beautiful mix of classic sturdy furniture with an unexpected surface pattern of usually disposed of objects (still of beauty in my opinion.)

Confessions of a Design Geek had a great stand showcasing recent graduates work. Bilge Nur Saltik's glowing ceramics, that encourage sharing of food and playfulness took our fancy.

And finally, couldn't leave without a illustrated memento from this Face-o-mat by Tobias Gutmann.
